Grant Writer Associate

The Empowerment Center is looking for an experienced contract/freelance grant writer to provide ongoing writing services to secure funding for various nonprofit and small business organizations. The Grant Writer Associate is expected to be available to lead team writing projects and navigate sensitive information for small to mid size nonprofit organizations to include researching, meetings, and reporting.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, 5+ years of grant writing experience required. Knowledge of nonprofit management and government grants a plus.

Hours of Work: Hours and number of hours worked are negotiable and flexible and will vary from week to week.

Location of Work: Remote

Content/Marketing Manager

The Empowerment Center is looking for an experienced Media/Marketing Manager to oversee and manage all social media accounts and blogs by copywriting to produce edification of brand, product and services. Content/Marketing Manager will be expected to post/produce copy-write at least 3 times per week for each social media account, maintenance website, in addition to monthly meetings with team.

Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working with small businesses in addition to knowledge of nonprofit sector required.

Location of Work: Remote

Administrative Assistant

The Empowerment Center is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our growing team. Must be detailed oriented, experienced in project performance tools with excellent interpersonal skills to help prepare and coordinate client calls, meetings and other team projects.

Qualifications: 2+ years of college with administrative experience working in a business setting. Excel, Microsoft, and spreadsheets experience required. Proficiency in project management tools such as ASANA/MONDAY preferred.

Hours of work: PT, up to 15 hours per week.

Location: Hybrid/ Downtown Cleveland Office & Remote
